  1. It was the -reporting- of hate crimes that went up. Bad reporting by the AP. We actually don't know if hate crimes related to sexual orientation is up or down (i suspect down) but its a good thing that they are being reported.

  2. I am shocked! 24% of Britons think gay sex should be criminalised! That seems such a high figure! I guess there is a core of bigots out there who will never change thier minds.

One good thing is that there has been an increase in support for gay unions, but there is still someway to go.

  3. I was really skeptical at first, but have to say that I think Lance Bass has handled himself brilliantly after coming out. So many, myself included, have poked fun at his choice of models as boyfriends, but that is his right. As a defacto ambassador of the GLBT community he has been a star.

  4. I think Lance has quite a long way to go before he's "a de facto" anything. The proof will be in the long term. I hope he sticks it out.

  6. Have I been asleep or has there been no word of a Jake Gyllenhaal p.s.a. on Prop 8?
