Mosquitoes or Mountains?
You knew it was coming: the evening gown portion of the 1984 Miss Alaska competition.
Says Palin (then Sarah Heath):
"God has made us this promise: If we will commit our works to Him, we will succeed. Our lives can be enhanced by applying this, and by thinking optimistically. In Alaska we have mosquitoes; we also have the most beautiful mountains in the world. The choice is ours as to which we'll focus on."

We have a VP candidate with a voice that sounds like a room full of mosquitoes and another with mountains of experience and knowledge. Which should we focus on?

Andy...I have an idea...THE QUEEN is obviously a Republican troll (and probably a 'straight' guy in the south for that matter)...why not simply start removing anything THE QUEEN posts here?...THE QUEEN will eventually get the idea that its comments are not being seen here and will move on to another blog.

Sorry LIghtingLord, but the comments we are referring to aren't based on any political stance, but more on their inappropriate tone. This commentator has called others "fa&$%^'s", as well as taken away from the content by posting lewd and off-topic comments. As this has gone on for months (if not more), loyal readers have "tolerated" this individuals long enough, now it's just gotten annoying, immature and offensive (especially a comment The Queen left on the news of Matthew Shephard, which Andy removed as it was very inappropriate and disrespectful to his memory).
