Watch: NOM Claims Woman Was 'Bullied' at Their Hate-fest Because Gay Protesters Blocked Her View

Nom_mother

Since nobody is showing up at the National Organization for Marriage's hate rallies, they are trying to get attention by putting out pathetic propaganda videos with sad piano music painting themselves as victims.

Check this one out, in which a woman claims she and her children were bullied by gay protesters who were simply blocking their view.

So, let's get this straight (so to speak). NOM is on a 23-city tour intended to hurt gay people and their families by rallying support for their homophobic marriage amendments, and they claim that gays are the bullies?

Another solution for this woman next time a protester is blocking your view. Get up and move to a spot where you can see.

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. This is utterly ridiculous. Utterly.

  2. She was intimidated by all those brightly colored umbrellas, the poor thing.

  3. I was bullied because NOM blocked my right to marry.

  4. This is the best they've got?

    PATHETIC!

  5. the key to a great video: be sure to have a random man holding a billowing flag in the background.

  6. well hey! if holding brightly coloured umbrellas is the way to scare & intimidate people then we gays should have been able to attain equal rights decades ago.

who knew it was that easy?

  7. Are these morons coming to Chicago? I would love to go and block some more of their views.

  8. But the video is supposed to work you see because the La Leche League twat used the word family 47 times in 2 minutes!

Of course, the idiot teabaggers who are susceptible to this sort of cheap emotional manipulation are also the very ones who suspect this lady is here illegally--- so EPIC FAIL on NOM's part

  9. Amazing how they attack attack attack... and then have the utter gall to play the victim card.

"We're going to stand our ground." Really? Or were you just too lazy to move your Maggie-sized-backside off the ground to move to a better spot?

Looked like there was PLENTY of room.

  10. her husband was up front --- what leading the hate rally waving that big flag ???

do you see the hate in that man's eyes ?
same as in the old clips of southern racists in the 1960s

  11. Just ignore them. Don't click on their links and give them the page views that they are so desperate to get. Our "outrage" fuels all of their activities.

  12. Hey lady, what about my family? We're ACTUALLY under threat from you and your ilk, though certainly not intimidated.

  13. There would have been a time when those biracial kids would have been thrown in a river along with the parents. How you feel about those family values?

  14. I don't think a dark skinned woman speaking with an accent was meant to get the sympathy of tea-baggers. It might work for uptight Catholics.

  15. My question is who was the guy trying to silence? He kept 'shushing' someone out of camera range...probably the woman's kids who just wanted were tired of being dragged by mommy to be used as family 'props' at the barely attended rally....

  16. Go over to their site and let them know how they are threatening families:

  17. Oh, my. That's priceless. Poor lady must have thought gay people were invisible. No wonder she was so shocked, scared, and intimidated when they turned out to be opaque like everyone else!

  18. Like a construction site or a fascist rally, a potential riot by homosexuals is no place for a baby.

  19. Brilliant! Claim intimidation, mention "family" a multitude of times, let "victim's" eyes tear up a little bit and mention in a tremulous voice how "intimidated" and "afraid" she and her three children ("family") were; also mention that her husband was further up front (you know, "family") without explaining why that brave, hearty man wasn't there to defend innocent, intimidated wifey; BUT, ignore that the sight of the "protesters" with colorful umbrellas bore no threat to the tearful, fearful lady and her three "family" children; that it was she who could have turned around to nurse her baby (also ignore that NOM supporters et ilk think that public breast-feeding is vulgar), that she could have picked herself up off the ground and moved in front of the "protesters" with her three children ("family") and then wonder why NOM would think that this video will be useful to their cause.

Of course, on tonight's Faux News shows and tomorrow's reich-wing shout radio shows, they will only show the clips of her talking and not show nor mention that the "protesters" were standing silently with colorful umbrellas (mentioning, perhaps, that colorful umbrellas held by quiet and immobile individuals can be very intimidating to an innocent, lonely mother of three "family" children). All the crazy-cons will scream "radical homosexual bigots with radical agendas intimidating poor, lonely, innocent mother and her three "family" children!"

If it wasn't so surreal, it would be laughable. Sadly, the NOM crowd--millions and millions of them--will buy this bilious bullshit. Yes! Rally the poor, innocent, defenseless NOM troops to stop those mean, cruel, intimidating, radical homosexuals with colorful but intimidating umbrellas and their radical agenda signs being shoved in the faces of decent Americans who only want to exercise their right of free speech, free assembly and free expression of their deeply-held spiritual beliefs!

Maybe at the next rally, as a show of solidarity and a sharing of values, such as limited government, a strong national defense, a restoration of constitutional principles, less taxes and less government spending, the LCR and GOProud homos can act as bodyguards for such poor, innocent, intimidated Nommies.

  20. This made me laugh so hard. This is it? People with umbrellas blocked my view???? Ewww, those evil gay people. How could they show up with those violent colorful umbrellas and stand ten feet away from me in my way? What's next, gay people holding hands and singing?!?

A couple VERY telling things --- "my husband was up front..." So considering how few people were actually at this thing, that meant he was either a speaker on the stage or totally near sighted. And she didn't bother to stand up, take her kids and move around these people, or God forbid, call her husband? She just sat there, intimidated, waiting to breastfeed? Really?????

So besides this ginormous ridiculousness, she got one things right...WE won't be intimidated, this is for OUR families.

NOM is pathetic and this "Marriage Tour" proves how thinly ridiculous they are. If they weren't so baseless and disgusting, you might actually feel sorry for an organization that no one wants to join.

  21. @Bart...I wouldn't discredit NOM. Members may not show up at rallies but they sure know how to write and mail off a check.

  22. Somebody check the milkman, because I'd be escared too of my husband finding out

They need to setup a co-rally with La Leche (L.L.L.I)!

  23. We're supposed to be polite, little faggots and shut-up and sit back down in that closet where we belong!

  24. ahh that piano backround music just puts it all into persepective...LOL

  25. Can someone check her papers, because she could barely speak proper English, and you know the right wing must make sure that we are "true traditional Americans"
