  2. Isn't Cheyenne half Native American? And privileged? Where did you pull that fact from? Your arse?

  4. What does your alleged privilege have to do with right and wrong? Are only underprivileged people supposed to speak up for justice and against hate language hurled at minorities and the instigation of violence?

  5. Another white queen pretending to look down on black people. Thanks Cheyenne, now please go back to your so called career.

  6. I don't get it. Was he NOT supposed to have an opinion..being that he IS gay? I didn't see anything he said having to do with looking down on blacks. What are YOU reading? What are you any of you doing, but bitching on towleroad?

  7. RE: Anglican Archbishop

I sang King Kaspar in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors in a production staged in an Anglican church shortly after moving to Sydney six years ago. Afterward, Jensen came up to congratulate me on my performance. When my partner came up and it became clear we were a couple, Jensen hoicked up his metaphorical ecclesiastical skirts and fled. Ass.

  8. The people claiming racism in Cheyenne's comments are simply making things up.

  9. I'be been out for a long time, and people are usually friendly to me, but I think a lot of straight people honestly think gays are from mars. They would probably never express this, at least not to a gay person. If they do, they may think they're expected to by others.

  11. Calling the Archbishop of Sydney a Christian bishop is an abuse of Christianity itself.

  12. Did you actually see the Johnson interview and "debate?" It was made clear that the debate was no debate and that the actor merely used Obama's word to outline differences between Obama and Johnson. Johnson is a good guy and very supportive of equal rights for gay people. If you had seen the show you would have watched the Republican "adviser" brought on who was outraged that Johnson didn't buy into fundamentalist Christianity and a Christian social/culture war mentality.

  13. I am absolutely disgusted by ANY gay person who purports for one minute to excuse the gay homophobic tirade by Tracy Morgan. Have YOU ever been beaten up because you are gay? Have YOU ever been denied housing, a job, a promotion, or treated less then human because you are gay? If you are gay you have whether you believe or accept the fact or not. Tracy Morgan's comedic career is over. Dead. Gone. It is his own fault. Same with 30 Rock - and Tina Fey, Alic Baldwin, etc. Anyone who comes out and publicly states they accept Morgan's apology or 'hopes that his apology is sincere' is a complete idiot. Gay people WILL DIE because of the hatred Morgan has spewed. He deserves to be run out of the entertainment industry and those who support him or apologize for him deserve to be chastised and made aware that the Gay Community is simply no longer going to stand for such support or activity.

Tracy Morgan's career is over. Boycott 30 Rock.

  14. The Anglican Archbishop of Sydney needs to be removed from his church. In fact, the church needs to be shut down completely. For some reason many in the Gay Community believe it is "ok" for any religious order to be 'anti-gay' or declare that gay marriage or gay people are less than equal to everyone else.

The Angelican/Catholic religion needs to stopped in its tracks permanently. Maybe then the lightbulb of equality and sanity will go off in their pea brains.

I'm tired, fed up and pissed off that any religion is allowed to speak out against the gay community or any gay person without repercussion. Put your damn foot down people. Say no, not any more! This is 2011. If you don't end it then your lives will never be equal to the heterosexual community. You don't deserve that. NO GAY person deserves to be less than anyone else.

  15. Cheyenne's response was the basic, most bland and perfectly acceptable response. So of course, because this is Towleroad, its' too little, too much, too racist, not racist enough.

  16. Cheyenne (Hello? His name is Cheyenne, for crying out loud!) Jackson isn't white, isn't privileged (unless being D List -- no offense, Cheyenne -- is being privileged), but he is a famous, handsome, talented gay man steadily working in entertainment who is sane and responsible and admired and respected, so, therefore, crazy-ass homos hate him and, because they hate him, they can make up any reality for him they want.

Hey, I want to play, too! Cheyenne Jackson is a Scando-Asian warlock in league with the demon Dasdrebaertbl who is worth $511 billion dollars and he owns black people as slaves -- and eats them for dinner. And, to make matters worse, he has bad table manners. And he has still has slave in his teeth from last night.

    Top that, crazy-ass homos!

  19. Everyone who knows him says it is not like him to say such stuff...

I think it was about self-sabotage - some people feel they don't deserve what they have and so they destroy it...kinda sad really.

  20. Cheyenne Jackson is a complete 1000000-percent caucasian with a fabricated history, including a fabricated military history, of being native American for nothing else but show business purposes and apparently anything else he can get away with. Sadly, his native identity and background is a fabrication. He looks and is not native to the American hemisphere. This is fairly long established, but he continues with this dramatic, and otherwise curiously offensive, license. But, hey, it's the media business. They're all gay, right? Hmmmph.
