'Who I love more than anything in the world.' WOW I absolutely love how Neil has always been so open about his feelings for David. Lifetime of happiness to them both. David does look great in a bowtie-will prob. wear one on his wedding day!

He (and David) just make me (and my Greg) so proud to be members of the gay community. So happy for Doogie and the guy is incredibly funny! :-)

See folks? This is how it's done. NPH is out and proud in the most matter-of-fact way imaginable. No fear. No "scandal." Just two guys in love.

Maybe in a hundred years when somebody stands on Neil's star a series of clips from his career will begin playing in the air alongside a scrollable bio and list of roles. Then the visitor can say, in whatever newspeak they use, "Oh. That's who that was."

It's also interesting that he mentioned Spring Byington and Mitchell Leisen both of whom lived closeted Gay lives in old Hollywood. Spring was the "long time companion" of Marjorie Main and Leisen had apparently lived a closeted life with two show marriages. He doesn't mention that fact but classy little shout out to them from NPH!

What do these stars really mean? I like NPH but really what in his career is deserving of the hollywood walk of fame star? honest question

@Kranbee
Jon Cryer from Two and Half Men just got one. If HE can get one than Neil Patrick Harris certainly is deserving of one.

I would suggest that you simply Google Neil Patrick Harris and see if that will not help you to answer your own question. Simply stated, he is a multi-talented person. He has been a "star" since he was 14 years of age. He is a television actor, a very competent magician, film actor, and a veteran of the Broadway stage. He is a talented host for multiple events and is an accomplished director of theater productions, and apparently a devoted husband and family man. It would appear that he is very deserving of this recognition.

Does anyone know if this is the first time an out gay man, has received a star?. + at the same time take his man with him, for pictures etc? and talk about their children?
If not, who else have done that before?
