Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys, in Nashville: VIDEO
A new season of this show featuring women and their gay best friends (and all the accompany drama) premieres on November 18 on Sundance. Didn't see the first season, which was apparently set in Manhattan. This year they're in Nashville.
Anybody a fan?
Watch a preview, AFTER THE JUMP...

I watched one episode of first season. I have to relate to at least one "character" to buy into a "gay" show. I'll give it another go in a new city. On the bright side at least it's on an HD channel and not blurry LOGO.

You know, its indie reality shows like this that make me have hope for reality shows in general. You don't need drunk drama queens to have an entertaining show. The stories and troubles of these people are more than enough to keep us watching. Take note, MTV.

I have to admit the name puts me off. I want to watch boys who like boys who like boys.... no girls. Sorry.

I couldn't get into the last season, but will give it another go in a new city with new people.

Have not seen this but would sure like too. Checked the torrent sites and come up empty for any episode. A little help would be nice for those who have access to the show! Hint P2P Hint. Looks much better then that idiotic A-List (which lost long ago). I agree with Robert, the gay community needs good reality shows as well as good sitcoms.

I hate this show- the women are annoying and some of the men pathetic.

I'm a little concerned that there don't appear to be any characters who bidentify. At least A-List New York has Rodney to represent.

This is on Sundance??? Whatever happened to the indie tv station that promoted independent movies? Guess everyone (including Robert Redford) gets strapped for cash and has to resort to cliched reality tv shows. ugh.

Bicurious-
Your "concern" seems a bit off. The name of the show is "Girls who like Boys who Like Boys" not "Girls who like Boys who like Boys and Girls." This show is exploring the gay boy/straight girl dynamic. Obviously, if one of the boys (or girls) were bi, that would completely change the dynamic.
I'm not defending the show, as I have never seen it. But your criticism of this show seems akin to complaining because Real Housewives of Orange County does not feature any homeless Texans in its cast.

I saw the first season of this show -- it was actually kind of boring. Surprised that anyone is interested enough to justify a second season.

Unfortunately, there is no chance to regain the 3.5 minutes lost to viewing this garbage.

I just hope that this is done on an intellectual level and not on the ugly fetishistic level you see in situations where the genders are reversed - eg straight guys with lesbians. I am so sick and tired of sleazy straight guys claiming they are GLBT-friendly when what they really mean is that they want to pick up two boner dykes for a threesome.

This show was ok.
At least its not insulting to gays like that vapid garbage A-List Dallas, that show is painful to watch and I am embarrassed that some straight people might think we gays are like that.

If I was a straight person wanting to understand gay men. I would figure this out, they are shrill shallow idiots a la A List and they have mummy issues a la the need for a fag hag.

Ahhh, I remember these times. Classic codependency based on a caretaker complex. Mommy issues galore!

Am I the only gay that doesn't have a whole bunch of straight girl friends? These people all seem crazy to me.

Perpetuating stereotypes...of the south, of women, of gay men (all white, of course, as a man of color, I don't exist...as a gay man of color, I am not even considered for existence).
You know, after realizing that TV and the media and pop culture in general want nothing to do with me or others like me, I think that's fine. But do not go on stating that this is reality. It is another theater piece and nothing more than something to get others to buy stuff.

Oh Lordy. I grew up in Nashville. Clicking through it turns out I know half of these guys. Expect this to be like any other reality show—fame cravers. Not that there is necessarily anything intrinsically wrong with that. Just don't expect any documentary quality "in the life" here.
