  1. So Gary Glenn is implying that gays are some kind of threat to the privacy of children......what a snide, abominable, little manipulative piece of propagandist $hit he is.

Does anyone still believe this garbage ? Homophobes still peddling their filth; say anything that stirs up hatred of the gays.
oh, yes, Glenn , you will be a great senator and shining example of the sanctimonious prigs who vote for you.

  3. Can we please stop Giving Maggie Gallagher a platform. She has no expertise in work history, anthropology, sexual behavior, criminology, psychology. Nor does she appear to have any expertise in theology. Although confession in the Roman Catholic Church has traditionally taken place in a confessional, that is not a requirement. The time to confess a sin is any time you can get a priest to administer the Sacrament of Penance. However, I don't see how the concept of confession applied to the case referenced as I was unaware that the daughter was trying to confess.

  6. Maggie Gallagher would not have appreciated it if Pope John Paul II told her that she could not receive communion for her disregard of his papal bull on the Iraq war. Her ass was out there every week hawking it like it was a sale on Twinkies. She violated papal authority to keep to her Republican agenda--Sean fathead Hannity, too.

I wrote her once about wives submitting to their husbands--this was years ago when her yahoo address was open for all. We went back and forth several times. I just don't like her. She is just a bitter person.

  7. Smithsonian Magazine posits that there was an atmospheric visual effect the night the Titanic went down that made spotting icebergs on the horizon almost impossible.. leading to them running into the berg that no one saw coming -- it was the perfect storm!

  8. I'm actually a little confused by Annie Lennox's suggestion that the gay community should become more feminist. Um... For the most part, we already are. Lesbians have been a big part of the feminist movement from the beginning (the so-called lavender menace) and most gay men in their 40s and under are very pro-women, though I admit that many older gay men in the 50s and up have historically had an issue with lesbians and feminism. Annie, I'm a gay male feminist and proud of it! Equality for all!

  9. Andy, I'm surprised you missed this one: "Islamic states, Africans walk out on UN gay panel"

"Brushing aside high-level UN appeals for cooperation to halt murder and violence against gays and lesbians around the globe, Muslim and Arab countries on Wednesday stalked out of a Human Rights Council panel to tackle the issue."

    Disgusting, backwards animals.

  10. Dear Annie,

Feminism got a bad name because it has had a disastrous effect on Western civilization. It has caused divorce rates to skyrocket, it has become a major contributor to income inequality, it has caused birth rates in Europe to plummet, it has damaged the family structure and deprived children of proper parenting--which is why they are failing in school and are the least healthy generation, physically speaking, in history, and it has introduced all kinds of conflict into the workplace that did not exist before.

You and women like you are nothing but selfish, self-involved, power-hungry little prima donnas who put yourselves and what you want before everything else--and have only gotten away with it because a homophobic male culture has kept men emotionally and socially dependent on women, to the extent that they have tended to give you everything you wanted.

And the gay men who have supported you have done so out of a severely misguided belief that they have some sort of shared destiny with women like you, when in fact just the opposite is the case.

So don't hold your breath about men or boys embracing your twisted view of the world--just the opposite is about to happen, so you had best prepare yourself for it.
