    It doesn’t matter if this video is shown locally, nationally or globaly. What matters is when it comes down to votes, which is will, even in places so gay oriented as California, the changes to the marriage laws will not happen. You want civil union I’m all for it but when you want to change current marriage laws then we will have to fight about it.

    Current law in the United States says: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    Perhaps we should simply follow the current Supreme Law of the land and voters should stop trying to violate the Constitution of the United States which Cpl. Wilfart and others died to preserve, protect, and defend.

    Incredibly moving! If this doesn’t move hearts and minds of the majority in Minnesota to our side then I fear that the hatred for gays is so deep and pervasive that only many years and the deaths of a few million senior citizens will change the conversation.
