Mitt and Ann Romney Realize the Ride's Over and They're Nobodies: VIDEO

Ann and Mitt Romney characterize their feelings about losing the election in an upcoming interview on FOX News Sunday.

Said Ann:

"In our church, we're used to serving and you know, you can be in a very high position, but you recognize you're serving. And then all of a sudden, you're released and you're nobody. And we're used to that. It was really quite a lot of energy and a lot of passion and a lot of -- a lot of people around us and all of a sudden, it was nothing."

Said Mitt:

"It's different. But it's like riding on a roller coaster. We were on a roller coaster. Exciting and thrilling, ups and downs, but the ride ends. And then you get off. And it's not like, 'oh, can't we be on a roller coaster the rest of our life?' It's like, 'no, that ride's over'.

  1. And of course it's all about his church. They're truly fanatics.

  2. Didn't the Great Prophet who hid the golden tablets of Mormonism in the woods declare that roller coasters are the devil's playground?

It must be hard to have nothing when you're filthy rich.

  4. i keep seeing that meme from Zombieland where Woody Harrelson is using hundred dollar bills to wipe his tears. Go away, Mittens!!

  5. Oh Yeah. That ride is definitely over.

  6. Mitt's just waitin' for that MS to get her, so he can upgrade. Mitt's got seed left to sew, and he's not lookin' to waste it on some eggless old hen. Ann's ride is about to slow down a little more.

Can you imagine pumpin' that old woman's badonkadonk for the next 20 years?

  7. Didn't his son say he didn't want to be president? Yeah, right.

I remember after Newt Gingrich was forced out of the House, he had an agency touting his services as a public speaker. Every week we got a fax (it was the 90s!) only with the fee dropping considerably since the last flyer. It was delicious Schadenfreude. It sucks to be the center of so many people's attention and then suddenly the person no one wants to be seen with in public. it couldn't happen to two bigger douchebags. If you're really all about service then go volunteer with Habitat for Humanity or something. That might actually do someone some good.

  9. The ride doesn't HAVE to be over. We could strap the two of you to the roof of the car.

  10. Who are Ann and Mitt Romney?

  11. Please quit posting stuff like this. Thurston Howell the 4th had nothing to say in his run for President worth recalling and he has even less relevance now. Can we leave him on the ash heap of history with Tom Dewey and Walter Mondale please!!

  12. There's one more ride i'd like to see them go on: a rocket to the Sun.

    Posted by: Firestorm | Mar 1, 2013 1:17:19 PM

  13. Then treat them like nobodies and do not post about them any more

  14. Mitt basically bought the Republican nomination by outspending the competition until no one was left standing but him. The Republicans didn't want him to be their candidate, and Americans didn't want him to be their president. Please, Mitt, enjoy your millions. It's time for you to ride off into the sunset. Good riddance.

  18. If only he would admit that his run for the presidency was predicated entirely on being the very wealthy son of a former politician. It was in large part his sense of privilege that made him think the office was his to take.

  19. We stepped forward to serve. Wow. She thinks that fighting for power and stepping on anyone in your way is "serving." If you watch the shadows real real close, you can see the knot of cognitive dissonance in her brain bend the light just a little.

  20. Umm -- I don't want to be characterized as a Mitt Romney defender, but I'm kind of bothered by a certain amount of Romney-bullying that's still going on in the world.

I would have been terrified if he were elected President, but he wasn't and he's not in public office. Sure the Romneys are sort of odd people and don't seem to understand what century they live in or that their wealth puts them wildly out of touch with an average American. But I've never had the sense that they are deeply evil people (like, say, Cheney) and I don't really understand the need to keep beating on them. The election was four months ago. Haven't they been given enough attention?

Besides, you should be giving your attention to the new Republican spawn that are rising from the (corporately polluted) rivers. Don't dissipate your energies by focusing on the defeated enemies of the past!

  21. @Buster, generally when public figures make public appearances for public consumption, it's fair for the public to comment.

  22. Not to be spiteful or anything but....oh who am I kidding this s*** is so satisfying that I can't even.

    Also @ 'Mon Man
Petty sure Ann's "badonkadonk" is about the last thing I want to think about thanks. Right next to to Mitt's crusty junk. Also thinking about Mitt's seed just made me throw up a little in my mouth. I think your giving the old impotent fart a bit too much credit.

  24. Just reading all these nasty spiteful comments makes me feel like I'm on an elevated crocodile balcony looking down into a seething maw-hole of slashing fangs and flickering tongues. No wonder we're winning the war agains the homophobes, we're better fighters.
