'People have said the racial makeup of our show is not what it could be, and I think that comes down to the fact that the show basically has three main characters. Those are people that I knew or they’re me. It wasn’t that we set out to represent anyone. The goal of the show was not to represent anyone but to tell a story about these characters.'"

  4. How can a sidewalk bring energy? Jane Lynch's niceness has to be an act. FYI: Cancer is a business.

  6. I would have liked to see Gosling in 50 Shades. Charlie Hunnam DOES have a history of sexually provocative roles. He was 19 playing a 15 year old and having sex with a 29 year old man in the original Queer As Folk.

  7. The rainbow crosswalks in Vancouver are not tacky.

  8. Also, all the people poo pooing over Hunnam winning the role are nuts. Or they just have never seen Charlie Hunnam.

  9. I adore Alan Cumming, but the cast album we have of "Cabaret" and the clips I've seen indicate that he wasn't exactly subtle in the role. We saw Norbert Leo Butz in the role on tour, and I would've loved to have seen Neil Patrick Harris. I wonder who else will take on the MC this time. I think Michelle Williams will make a remarkable and vulnerable Sally, based on her turn in "My Week With Marilyn." (She can also do slyly witty, as in "Oz the Great and Powerful.")

  10. There's something sexy about two Norwegian rockers doing a video with "the cat says meow and the dog says bow wow and the fox goes....."

  11. PETA should worry more about ending their own program of euthanizing dogs brought to them as rescues than trying to shut down horse drawn carriages in NYC. FYI PETA, horse drawn carriages have been used for literally THOUSANDS of years.
