  6. California and New York make up half of the number, but 1/3 is a nice milestone reached.

    Can someone from Iowa tell me if their marriage law is under threat if the state's Senate flips Republican? Is it even possible the state's Senate will flip to Republican? Thanks.

  9. Llet's be honest. California was the second state with marriage equality in the United States. Show the spike in 2008; the five months in California whern marriage was legal before the virulent, hateful right wing homophobes took our rights away.
