RoadIs the universe a hologram? "In 1997, theoretical physicist Juan Maldacena proposed that an audacious model of the Universe in which gravity arises from infinitesimally thin, vibrating strings could be reinterpreted in terms of well-established physics. The mathematically intricate world of strings, which exist in nine dimensions of space plus one of time, would be merely a hologram: the real action would play out in a simpler, flatter cosmos where there is no gravity."

RoadRyan Carnes returning to General Hospital in the role of Lucas Jones, the gay nephew of 'Luke' Spencer (remember Luke and Laura?). Our tipster reminds us: "Carnes was rumored to have quit GH the first time when the show decided to have Lucas come out as gay because his agent feared, post-Eating Out and GH, that he would be typecast as gay. Guess he either has new management or has gotten over himself because he's now returning to the role in it's fully out incarnation. 1. I'm pretty negative, but even I didn't see it coming that Johnny works for (excuse me, "with") Putin.

  3. Well, what with the conflict of interest (and it appears to be a pretty open and shut case) then Weir will not be working for NBC much longer. And what with his capitulation to Moscow and Putin, I doubt he's going to be welcome in the US for much longer.

Let him 'escape' to Putin's welcoming arms.

Truthfully, both NBC and Weir are tainted by this revelation.

  7. I can't stand Weir, but the story is false. Weir attended an event at the Russian Consulate in NYC for the Russian Children's Welfare Society. Some PR hack from the company who books Weir for speaking engagements misrepresented that single event as "working with" the Consulate.

The real story here is another blogger publishing incorrect information without checking it first. Unlike the old days, primary sources are readily available via social media.

  9. The Ireland story isn't correct. Same-sex marriages from other countries have been recognized in Ireland since 2010. This is just an extension of a previously-existing list.

  12. Ah. Ann Romney. . . How lucky for us that she has Sore Loser syndrome. In truth, if given a second chance, I'd still vote for Obama.
