  4. Paul Rudd, hosting, was the only reason I recorded SNL. This was a funny skit, as was the opening monologue. Paul Rudd made the best of it.

  5. I liked Rudd's opening monologue. But, was distracted by his slacks not fitting properly. The waist was pulling so tightly that you could see the metal zipper where the fly covering couldn't close properly. Of course, this would have been corrected had Rudd been wearing a belt. I believe the slacks did have belt loops.

  7. One Direction really surprised me. Having never heard a song by them before, I was impressed with the two they performed last night. They struck me as a younger (and instrument-less) Mumford & Sons rather than a Backstreet Boys or N'SYNC rehash. They were actually pretty good. I'm sure they have their junky pop songs, but at least some of their album is decent.
