  1. Gates's comment about Obama's lack of passion on dadt repeal is very telling. I've always sensed that Obama is a big phony on gay rights.

  2. Yeah. You would sense that the most pro-LGBT President in the history of the United States of America is a big phony on gay rights.

    Keep telling yourself that.... #youlikelyracistidiot

  3. Little kiwi,

Did I hurt your feeling? Face it - Obama is a fraud.

    Don't feed the little troll!

  6. "Gates's comment about Obama's lack of passion on dadt repeal is very telling. "

In what bizarro Log Cabin world does "deep passion" mean "lack of passion"?

  7. Sam: Actually what gates said was that DADT was the only thing Obama had a deep passion about. You have it backwards.

  8. @LittleKiwi,

Though he appears to be the most pro-GLBT President (which isn't all that difficult to do), he hasn't actually fought for equal rights of GLBT persons. This is one of the reasons why I call him our "Milquetoast President".

  9. @Sam/Jason (speaking of phony): Can you read? Gates is saying the President WAS passionate about DADT repeal, which was an issue for Gates.

  10. I never need to read anything related to Bieber or Cyrus again. Ever.

    Jeff Koons, probably not.

Anderson Cooper, well of course. Like he has big money worries.

Oh, and SF is also opening a massive senior LGBT housing building.

  11. @PJ: He doesn't "appear to be," he is. It's simply fact. And if you don't know why, you haven't been paying attention to what he and his DOJ has been up to for the last 5 years.

  12. Passion or no passion. No matter how you hate Obama, facts remain facts. DADT was repealed. DOMA supreme court decision was implemented in all branches of government. Utah's marriages were federally recognized. Do you honestly expect all these being done under a Romney presidency?

  13. Jared Leto is hot (especially for an older guy), but Terry Richardson (who took the photos) is a narcissistic sleazebag who should probably be in jail, where he can show his scrawny body to his future master.

And lordy lord, Amy Adams can't sing for $hite!

  14. Thank you, KIWI, ERNIE & SIMON.

It just goes on and on and on and on. The President could come out as Gay and still these right-wing Gays wouldn't want him.

You know I inquired about the new building for Gay seniors here in Philadelphia. Turns out I make too much money. What a joke! Every week I have to choose between a decent bottle of whiskey or decent toilet paper (you know which product wins out).

But it's a good thing. The Gay senior complex is located in an area that still has some hustling street trade. I don't need the temptation.

  18. Sorry to read that the trans killer CeCe McDonald is walking the streets again. It should be noted that the human being he stabbed was not the person who hit him with a bottle. He also lied to police about what happened. There really needs to be greater focus by criminologists on the relationship between gender identity disorder and violent crime.

  19. Sorry, comment got cut off. Just saying that this sort of violent interaction is very much in the nature of transgender life. There is a frightful statistical relationship between transgender and crime.

    Posted by: Jeanne | Jan 14, 2014 4:58:12 PM

  20. Yes, Jeanne. Many transgendered people become the victims violent crimes due to an overwhelming level of insecurity and hatred in society.

  21. Our dear president is a fraud. Forced by the vp to act. And the New Jersey governor thing is a non story. All the democrats afraid of him and the fact he would beat Hilary.

  23. @jeanne. you mean high correlation between transgendered people and violence/murder against them.

  24. Bless you, @Derrick. You bring new life to many an otherwise (mostly) unreadable comment thread. If only I could pull strings in Philadelphia I'd have them install a penthouse suite with a dedicated elevator just for you and special guests.

@Jeanne: The relationship is clear: Irrational hatred and transphobia/homophobia lead to irrational violent crimes against transgender/gay human beings.

  25. Wow, a lot of gay republican trolls in this thread today blatantly lying about what Gates actually said about the President. If Obama is a "phony" on gay rights, I'll take that "phony" anyday over a republican!
