Wow @MANUMISSION talk about hatred. I just happen to live in Tupelo, you can kiss it. Matt is an awesome weatherman by the way. Can’t wait to tell him he made in on Towleroad!

MANUMISSION – you’re so fun! I’ve noticed your posts before, the only guy who can type with a straight jacket on. I hope you enjoyed your little escape today, enjoy your room.

Oh great! Now we are being punished by God? I need to remind MANUMISSION that Mississippi is actually populated by many really great people. Unfortunately we (Mississippians) are governed by idiots who are elected by idiots, but the same thing can often be said for our entire country.

I clicked on the title thinking it said Ms. Meteorologist and was expecting someone running around the studio screaming like that weatherman and the bug.

Reminded me about how small we are in front if nature. Don’t sweat the small stuff because our problems are really very small in general.

HEX, GLAAD, and Lambda should form a very visible disaster aid group called the Rainbow Cross to help out. Love to see Pat Robertson rail against it. Their symbol can be a pink, purple, green, and orange arms with dark yellow center square.

“The Rainbow Cross has a heart of gold and we’re here to help.”

Apologize to the fundies for getting a little Over the Top with the Queer Eye of the Straight Storm and give out tips for renovations and new wardrobes.

Some hammer dyes can help with set up.

Guess all of you complaining about Manumission aren’t educated enough about American to know Tupelo is home of the American Family Associated. Here’s a little quote from Bryan Fisher.

“AFA’s biggest radio mouthpiece, Bryan Fischer, added Wednesday that natural disasters are all sent by God, of course.”

    And here’s the video.

Curious – why do they say to turn your TV volume up during a tornado? Is it just so you can hear the forecaster no matter where you are taking shelter in the house? I’ve tried googling, but couldn’t find an answer.

I’m sure there are some very nice people in Mississippi who don’t hate us, etc. Unfortunately, they appear to be in the minority or don’t bother to vote.
