Hillary Clinton Makes Surprise Appearance on 'The View': VIDEO

Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance on The View to mark Barbara Walters' final day on the show.

Walters ordered her to "sit here and be fascinating!"

Walters then asked her if she would be running, what her grandchild's name will be, and about the "hard choices" (the name of her new book) she has had to make.

  1. Ladies and Gentlemen, the 45th President of the United States.

  2. Why does Whoopi sound like a cross between Harvey Fierstein and Gilbert Gottfried? Is she ill?

  3. Hillary 2016!

  4. See what happens? First there was Michael Sams, and now this clip has four same-sex kisses in the first 50 seconds! I'm shocked...shocked!...and can't wait for that Amy Kushnir to defend traditional values.

  6. I am amazed that people still ask if she's running. Friends, she's been running for about a year now. She isn't giving political speeches because it's a personal hobby. The only reason that she hasn't made it official yet is because she would immediately become an official target for the Republican Party. Any attacks leveled against her now are generally viewed as "personal attacks." Any attacks that follow her announcement will be political attacks, and those are fair game.

  7. I guess Barbara's retirement was the only logical reason for Hilary to stoop to going on this now (if it wasn't already) joke of a show, what with it giving Ms. Earth-Is-Flat-And-Gays-Burn-In-Hell-But-I-Won't as well as Ms. Vaccines-Cause-Autism a platform.

Honestly even Barbara's tarnished some of her past legacy with her sanctimonious and hypocritical finger-wagging/moralizing whilst conveniently avoiding any and all discussion of her drug and drink addled daughter in the process.

  9. We need Hillary in the White House! We must dispel those right wing-nuts out of congress, the senate and all local and national public office. It is time for someone who will tell it like it is and how to make America great once again. Time seems to be going by too fast... and we must make better use of our time and the future. It's time for Madam President!

  10. Yes, Hillary is the strongest person to keep the White House in Democratic hands. Scalia and Kennedy are both 78 this year; at least one of them will surely have to step down in the next 10 years. The conservative majority on the Supreme Court will come to an end soon.

  11. She's awful but I'll take her over a Republican any day of the week.

  12. I think she will be a great president. And I think that she will have the chance to completely destroy that abomination called the Repulican Party. And I believe that she won't fail.

  13. And now Hillary please work on your nominations for the US Supreme Court.
We want a generational change; no more guilt ridden parochial Italians with their Roman Catholic hangups, their priest sons and their old white exclusively conservative interpretations of the constitution.
No more Thomas's .....with his glowering resentments and inferiority complex and without an original thought in is body.
And do hurry up, Hillery !.... Ruth Bader Ginsberg wants out of here and wants a few years of relaxed life ahead.

  15. Hillary is looking great.
    Sounding fantastic.
    Seasoned and sophisticated.
Probably the most qualified candidate for Prez in our history.

  18. I'm so disappointed that Hillary has come out against the Second Amendment. I can't vote for her.

    Posted by: enchantra | May 16, 2014 11:59:04 PM

  19. Enchantra, spewing bullsh;+ as usual. You need to work on those charms, they ain't too enchanting. Also, while I personally think the 2nd Amendment has been interpreted to the point of reducto ad absurdum, please point to where Hilary ever said she was "against it". Gimme a break.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Hillary Clinton on Tuesday offered her most detailed comments on domestic policy in months, calling for tighter gun restrictions ............... snip ...................................

“We have to rein in what has become [an] almost article of faith, that anybody can own a gun anywhere, anytime. And I don’t believe that,” she said.

  21. “We have to rein in what has become [an] almost article of faith, that anybody can own a gun anywhere, anytime. And I don’t believe that,” she said.

Well I'm thinking that's what they were thinking when they wrote "A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State"....

  22. Worst candidate EVER.

    Posted by: Jacob | May 17, 2014 7:33:17 AM

  23. On the gun issue: The guns are out there. The nuts have easy access to them. Shootings will become so common in the USA that they won't even make the news anymore.

Maybe at some point enough VOTERS will have had enough that something will be done to restrict every nut case from having easy access to military grade weapons. No one politician will "take away our guns" as the extremists like to rant. The people will.

  24. Ladies and Gentlement (all of which are responsible people of both the Democratic and Republican and Independent parties) your next President, more qualified that all the Presidents who have come before.
