'Big Brother 16' Hasn't Even Started and There is Already a Racist Homophobe Controversy

A few days ago we reported that Ariana Grande's gay half-brother would be appearing on Season 16 of CBS' Big Brother which premieres on Wednesday, and now it has been revealed that one of Grande's housemates is an alleged homophobe and racist.

CalebReynoldsCaleb Reynolds, a former prison guard in Iraq and professional hunter posted several unfortunate comments on his Instagram account, "insain_physique." He seems mostly to harbor very ill feelings toward President Obama.

Online Big Brother reports:

On Caleb’s Instagram account “insain_physique” about 20 months ago he made some extremely disturbing comments. When these comments surfaced whoever is managing his account deleted his account in an attempt to destroy the evidence. His Instagram profile read “Caleb Reynolds 100% natural, Personal Trainer, fitness is my passion, GOD is my strength, heaven is my goal.”

One of Reynolds' comments read:

“You believe in murder? You agree with fags? I guess so but I don’t agree with murdering A innocent baby which he clearly doesn’t mind. Nothin has changed in these last four years. You know it. Your just a democrat that wants that Muslim monkey in office. I’m done with you, your dismissed…

Also if you could see straight and wasn’t color blind the map if the US is completely red, thank god he only gets 4 more years. You and the other democrats will wish you never voted for him soon. Good job.”

Will his bigoted remarks receive some airtime, or will he keep them to himself (unlike last season's contestants)? Time will tell.

  3. Oh goody, another semiliterate bigot for the mouth-breathers to admire. Where do the nets find these morons, and why do they give them free publicity?? And why, for that matter, does T'road?

  7. great, round two, here we go again, and thanks for nothing cbs & endemol.

is education in this country so lacking that anyone under 30 is unable to discuss a subject passionately online without name calling? there have to be enough contestants that qualify for this show (i used to enjoy) that don't spew bigoted slurs in social media. what jerks.

  12. They really should do better background checks on these people before selecting them to be in the show.

  14. Leave him alone! He's entitled to his opinion.

A few years ago, I decided to only date straight-acting American-looking guys. Never been happier. No time for losers. Only go for the best!!

  15. re: "he won't last long"

Why would you think that? Last season's finalists were three of the most racist people in the house. The second place winner was an old school Archie Bunker-style racist. She said black people were a different species. She used the N-word. And she even went on an angry rant because one of the other HGs had a biracial child who looked like "Puerto Rican dirt." I'm talking the kind of racism you'd expect to hear from you grandparents. One of this seasons HGs is friends with this woman. So I'm pretty sure CBS did this on purpose.

  16. *sigh*

So the troll with no life once again impersonates me because he doesn't have the orbs to be himself. Must be Tuesday.

The man is racist homophobic bigot. Part of me hates that these pigs are given exposure and airtime, the other part thinks it's great that their ugly bigotries get exposed.
That said - i've never watched an episode of this show, in any of its incarnations. Zero interest in it.

  17. I don't know a single person who watches Big Brother.

  18. Eh, I've encountered far more racism in the gay male community. I'm multiethnic and have come across it many, many times.

    One wonders why.

  20. I just wrote CBS - not that it will do anything, but I did.

  21. There is no other show I hate more than Big Brother. Every single season they have these beautiful, buff straight people along with the sassy older black woman, the smart Asian female, the tech nerd, the out of shape older father figure and the extremely flamboyant, unattractive, very non-threatening gay guy.

    It's like "F'you CBS."

  22. am i supposed to care about this?

    Posted by: jaker | Jun 24, 2014 3:08:24 PM

  23. The troll imposter above is NOT me. Get a life Rick!

I have watched the show and I am somewhat smitten with this guy. Maybe it is the swag or maybe it is something else. I dunno. What I do know is that when I have tried dating a Black or a Mex, it has never worked out. It is better to stay with with normal-acting white queer men and there's nothing racist about that.

  24. Another contrived scandal to get ratings and publicity. What a waste of energy.

    Posted by: Kevin | Jun 24, 2014 3:16:25 PM

  25. A week ago the Towleroad poster CRISPY educated us on a condition that some men (and maybe some women) contract called "SWAMP ASS".

And after extensive research on the condition I found that it's been discovered that SWAMP ASS can travel from a sticky and putrid anus up through the nervous system to the brain. Obviously, Caleb Reynolds is suffering from a severe case of SWAMP ASS of the brain. Very unfortunate.

Fellow Christians, let us not hate Caleb Reynolds. Let us pray for him.

    @ ".... only date straight-acting American-looking guys."

Well, Rick, the "straight-acting" part removes you from consideration, doesn't it?
