  1. Drilling in Yellowstone for what? Geothermal energy?

Drilling there would be tricky, no matter what the expected goal.

    --Signed,
Someone who actually works with drillers, knows a little bit about geology and wouldn't want to be on a drilling site over a volcano.

  3. The message board on that sheriff story is particularly hateful - good to know.

  4. @Olympia,

This is the latest trend by "conservatives" in Western states that have a lot of land under Federal ownership (held in trust for the American people). Conservatives in Arizona even attempted to put a provision in the state constitution that would forcibly place all federal lands in Arizona into the ownership of the state. All so they could then sell those lands to private interests.

  6. Perhaps Rose McGowan isn't aware that African-Americans (with identity issuers or not) are often of mixed race and Rose herself is of African descent. Idiot.

  8. Nice to know that Beckham's whisky bottle is tasty, but what about the booze?

  9. Eh, she looks like Michael in that one picture, I'll second what BFORD said. I'm just glad she's looking better now than she did in that 'Law & Order:SVU' guest spot a few years ago. That was difficult to watch.

  10. Conservatives attempts to destroy National Parks is just the latest example of why US Conservatism is just plain evil and wrong.

I never thought that I'd not only side with, but vocally support and encourage violent environmentalist opposition, but this is the final straw.

  11. Can we stop spreading that lie that Michael wanted to be black? He was very active in the black community and had always considered himself black. It was also confirmed via his autopsy report he had vitiligo. It's offensive that people think he wanted to be white.
