Two nights ago I was in Manhattan Beach for dinner and took this photo from my friend’s terrace. It’s amazing how being able to look at the ocean will change your feeling about being in L.A. and make you forget about traffic and smog for a bit. Unfortunately in Manhattan Beach you’ve got these smokestacks to accompany your view of Malibu. There’s something tranquil about it just the same.
