I would have guessed these numbers to be higher. Wishful thinking?
Now the Kinsey report found that 37% of men at least one same-sex experience to orgasm. He also found that 10% of males in the sample were predominantly homosexual between the ages of 16 and 55, 8% of males were exclusively homosexual for at least three years between the ages of 16 and 55, and 4% of white males had been exclusively homosexual after the onset of adolescence up to the time of their interviews.
What does it all say? Probably that polls, as we found out recently in Ohio and Florida, are notoriously unreliable, particularly if conducted person to person. Conservative groups have tried to discredit Kinsey's numbers for years in order to stifle the influence and rights of gays and lesbians as a credible minority group.
And the GQ poll? Seems as if they were doing all the polling in red states. I'm sure if the poll were done of their own readers you'd see a number far higher than 2%.
