The Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears performs at Wednesday’s 25th annual Brit Awards in Earls Court, London, which happened to coincide with the Chinese New Year, this one being the year of the cock rooster. Upon winning his award, Robbie Williams joked, “I would like to thank my boyfriend Jake Shears.” This was perhaps a response to Shears’ ongoing slam of closeted pop stars, specifically Williams.
