I realize it’s been quite some time since I posted an In Heavy Rotation list, so (those of you who have been asking) expect one sometime soon. I was reminded of this by Jason Kottke’s post today about Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” which I have to agree with him creeps up on you like a case of crabs until you’re itching so bad you need to run out for some American Idol Rid. Okay, I extended that metaphor a bit far but this song is huge, huge I tell you. I never expected to be reading about Kelly Clarkson on kottke.org (“I owe each of you a sock in the face for introducing me to this maddeningly infectious crap.”) but I have to throw my hat in the ring here for enjoying this guilty pleasure — and the Jason Nevins club mix is recommended too.
