I’m fully aware that National Underwear Day is done and over, but, actually, we’re celebrating it again today. I’m happy to be the first to share these photos of Survivor Palau‘s Jeff Wilson. I’m sorry to have missed the first half of the Palau season because I obviously missed a contestant worth watching. Jeff was fifth to be voted off the island after an ankle injury but he obviously didn’t let the loss get him down. Friend of Towleroad Lewis Payton took the following photos, which are from the upcoming issue of Australia’s DNA magazine.

Lewis had this to say about the shoot:

“I saw Jeff Wilson on Survivor and he immediately grabbed my attention. Obviously he’s extremely good looking, but there was something very engaging and sincere about him. Jeff Probst (host of Survivor) said Wilson is ‘like a light in a room, he energizes everyone and makes you smile.’ This perfectly describes our shoot experience. Jeff is quirky, complex, generous of spirit and simply the most up and at ’em guy I’ve ever met. I’ve never laughed so much in a shoot and I was genuinely sad when we were done.

If he ever decided to pursue acting, I truly believe he’d be a star. But at this point in his life, he seems focused on having a good time with his buddies in Ventura and becoming a firefighter. Which, in a world where it feels like everyone wants to be famous, I think is great. Jeff is gracing the cover of DNA’s annual Sexiest Men Alive issue, out Sept 1 (later in US/Europe).”
