Author Terry McMillan finalizes her divorce with husband Jonathan Plummer, who she said deceived her because he is gay. Plummer accused McMillan of being a homophobe in the messy break-up, charges McMillan continues to deny: “I do not hate my husband for being gay. I do not hate anybody (except Saddam Hussein).”
New York Socialite J. David Enright IV filed a $5 million claim against the Catholic church Tuesday, saying molestation by a priest in 1961 at the age of seven made him gay. “I believe that my life would be very different now. I’d probably be married, living in Greenwich, with four children in boarding school.” The priest “bent” him, Enright claims: “I had a completely straight life in business, socially on Park Avenue and Fifth Avenue. Then there was the other world, which was slinking around in Greenwich Village gay bars, finding mates.”
