GLAAD Media Award Nominees Announced

GLAAD announced its nominations for the 19th annual GLAAD Media Awards last night at the Queer Lounge at the Sundance Film Festival for its award ceremonies to be held in New York on March 17, 2008 at the Marriott Marquis; in South Florida at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on April 12; in Los Angeles on April 26 at the Kodak Theatre; and in San Francisco on May 10 at the San Francisco Marriott.

Special honorees were also named that will be recognized at each of the ceremonies: Brian Graden at the New York ceremony, Janet Jackson, Rufus Wainwright and Herb Ritts in Los Angeles, Ilene Chaiken and David Mixner in San Francisco, and Wilson Cruz in South Florida.
