People must know that National Coming Out Day is right around the corner because it appears that a lot of them are feeling the pressure to come out — as straight.
Here's another one, not likely to be familiar to anyone in the U.S., but typical just the same. Australia's Sunday Mail reports that Australian Idol contestant Anthony Callea, who appears to be cloned from the same genes as Ricky Martin, says, “I'm not gay. I don't know why people say I am. A lot of people just make up rubbish.”
“One fan compared watching Callea on Australian Idol to watching Play It Straight — a show where viewers attempt to guess whether participants are gay or straight. Another described those voting for Callea as ‘poor deluded girls who believe he's not gay'.”
I actually feel for the kid in this case, because he's probably too much of a rookie to know how to spin it the right way. LeBlanc on the other hand, is a veteran and should know that drawing attention to it only feeds the fire.
