Study: Gay parents poorer than straight ones. "The study authors say the discrepancy likely stems from the racial and social diversity of gays parents and their children. The Family Pride Coalition is using the study to push for marriage equality, saying the data demonstrates what a financial hardship it is for gay parents to fight for legal protections that straight couples take for granted."
British musician Matthew Herbert plans disco record created by sampling the sound of cancer: "The know-how for this extraordinary feat would be provided by NASA via a scientist specialised in recording cellular activity."
