Al Reynolds was arrested for driving with a suspended license on New York's upper east side yesterday. His wife Star Jones never showed at the station house where he was — for more than 12 hours.
Reynolds apparently had to wait hours for a fingerprinting machine to be fixed. (How 'bout using an old-fashioned ink pad?) In the meantime, a publicist arrived, the Post reports:
When Reynolds finally emerged from the East 67th Street station house, he had a big grin — but few words.
Looking like a preppy with a smart V-neck sweater and eyeglasses — and sporting a 5 o'clock shadow — he nodded when asked if he was OK after his long incarceration.
“Yes, thank you,” he said.
Star Jones was absent when we spotted Al last weekend in the meatpacking district. So, is the honeymoon over, or the marriage? Or does Star just not give a damn?
