road.jpg According to James Schamus, Ang Lee's next film is not a biopic of Dusty Springfield starring Charlize Theron and Kate Moss: "And with one brief and bemused denial, the lip-smacking fantasies of millions of eager straight men ready for their equivalent of Brokeback’s seminal Jake-taking scene are snuffed like a gay cowboy’s cigarette after a satisfying night of fly-fishing."

  1. perhaps, a biopic of dusty would fall short just as this lame ass production continues to do when it has some potentiality of lifting above the voyeuristic boredom trash that much of it has become. working with lazy ass pretentious faux remedy cum remedial people on something posing as anything interesting.....then again, so is fly-fishing these days. there fakeness is pathetic in attempting to move beyond anything potentially profound.......perhaps, incapable!
