UK gay man is first to be convicted of recklessly transmitting HIV. Detective: "He is a callous, individual who has behaved in an unfaithful way. He gave us no indication as to his intent or motivation."
Phi Delta Gamma fraternity at University of Vermont suspended for alleged Brokeback Mountain hazing incident. Paper: "The investigation by university police has just begun but preliminary reports alleged that fraternity members required pledges to wear cowboy clothes in a theme inspired by the movie 'Brokeback Mountain.' Pledges then allegedly were taunted with homophobic comments."

There's only one University of Vermont, and that's in Burlington. I think you accidentally thought it was in Middlebury because of the well-known UVM initials, which actually refer to the university's Latin name "Universitas Viridis Montis."

Andy, I assume you mean the first man in the UK to be convicted. There has been at least one in the US who has been convicted (in GA no less).
