Rumors Fly of imminent Rove indictment

A juicy article by Jason Leopold on Truthout.org alleging Karl Rove's imminent indictment lit up blogs over the weekend.
Within the last week, Karl Rove told President Bush and Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten, as well as a few other high level administration officials, that he will be indicted in the CIA leak case and will immediately resign his White House job when the special counsel publicly announces the charges against him, according to sources.
Details of Rove's discussions with the president and Bolten have spread through the corridors of the White House where low-level staffers and senior officials were trying to determine how the indictment would impact an administration that has been mired in a number of high-profile political scandals for nearly a year, said a half-dozen White House aides and two senior officials who work at the Republican National Committee.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, sources confirmed Rove's indictment is imminent. These individuals requested anonymity saying they were not authorized to speak publicly about Rove's situation. A spokesman in the White House press office said they would not comment on "wildly speculative rumors."
Leopold has really put himself out there on this one. We'll soon know if truthout lives up to its name, I guess.

So Rove's indicted 3/4 of the way through Bush's double-term presidency? Nice gesture, but the damage has already been done. Would be a nice come-uppance for that machiavellian snake... but maybe I'm just bitter because the Dems can't pull it together well enough to be as successful in promoting their agenda (whatever that is).
Is it really your birthday Andy? Many happy returns of the day.

Actualy the DNC has stated its agenda
first 100 days if they take congress
1) raise minimum wage
2) overturn the tax cuts the only gives $20 to majority of middle class americans while the top 3% get tens of thousands
3) cut deficit spending
4) balance the budget
5) a sane Iraq withdrawl policy dependent on full meetings with millitary brass to draw up a time table of phased withdrawl
6) hold investigations on white house just to get the truth (supposedly Pelosi has pulled impeachment ioption off of the table)
7) hold investigations and have them swear under oath (which they never have)the big dogs at the oil companies
8) stage meetings on plotting america's involvment in the alternative energy future
9) restore ethics rules that repubs tossed out
I think that is it for the 1st 100 days. A lot!!!
Though dean pissed me off on the gay issues thingy (last week's mistating according to him misstating the dnc platform on gay rights)
