Blake Lewis and Chris Richardson, Together Forever
I know that more than a few people were unhappy to see the break-up of American Idol's dynamic duo Chris Richardson and Blake Lewis last night. Thanks to our wizards in the Towleroad labs, however, the two will never have to be apart again.

EW: So let's talk about the Chris-Blake BFF moment last night: I didn't realize you two were such buds.
RICHARDSON: We developed a friendship back in Hollywood and clicked since then. We've been roommates forever now. He's become like a brother to me. It's just been one of those things. Me and him are both very big on loyalty and friendship, you know. We have a lot in common. We might not sing exactly alike, but our styles of music and our style in general is very similar. You can't be anything but excited when your boy makes it through to another round.

I guess a sucker is truly born every minute. You guys do know that idol is HOLLYWOOD. Everything is a PR stunt. I have some bridges to sell the lot of you.
I wonder how many of you let the word love drop from your lips just as easily as Best Friend. I bet by the 3rd date max for a bunch of you.
When you can say after years of knowing someone you know they will be there for you no matter what and that you will be there for them no matter what and when they are all alone and dieing of aids that you are the only one visiting them and taking care of them due to their family disowning them. Taking care of them because everytime you needed help they were there for you no matter what. THEN come to me and talk about the meaning of the words BEST FRIEND. A Best Friend is a rare thing. Very few actualy get one in their lifetime let alone have more than 1 over a lifetime. I had 1, and a true best friend is such a treasure that you don't allow the word to drop so freely from your lips just because someone makes you smile a few times during fair weather.
Hell the word "Friend" gets thrown around way too much by people. You are lucky if you can number true frineds on more than 1 finger. All others are just acquintances.
When the rain comes in then you will realize what a Best friend is and what acquintances are.

Can you honestly name 1 person not a family member that you know without doubt would give you a kidney? Is there someone not family that without doubt or hesitation you would give a kidney to?
Be honest with yourself and you might just understand the true meaning of "Best friend" via your lack there of

Better yet, do this simple mental exercise.
Take everyone you call a friend or say they are your friend and picture truthfuly which ones really will show up at your funeral. Narrows it down doesn't it. Family members do not count. You just widdled out all of the acquintances of varying degree. Now out of those that actualy would show up at your funeral, which one without a moment hesitation would take your place so you could live again and they would be buried in the ground. your mother doesn't count. IF!!!! You can name 1 then that is your best friend and count yourself lucky.

if you are right then the entire show from top to bottom is fake. These are just a bunch of actors hired to play the role of contestants and pretend to go through the motions of a competition. Heck, when you call to vote the number is probably just disconnected.

I'd give my eye teeth to watch Chris, Blake and Ryan go at it. I think they're all adorable. I wasn't surprised to see Chris make his exit, though. I have a feeling the final showdown will be between Melinda and Jordan......we shall see....

POB, remember how very young they are.
Remember when you did your first high-school play and the adrenaline and the nervousness makes everyone hyper emotional, and they are all "OMG, we're Best Friends Forever! We'll call each otehr every DAY!!!" And then it doesn't happen.
Or they're lovers.
I just saw Chris saying he has broken up with his girlfriend of 3 years back home. Moving to a new crowd, or inching out of the closet? More than Blake, he makes my gaydar ping. The almost-hand-holding was adorable.

What is wrong with you ppl...they are just friends its not like they are more then that....whats wrong with having a best friend....I hate it when ppl say stuff like "Ewwww thats creepy" or "They should get married!" :/
I'm sure most of you have a best friend and no one tells you those things so dont say stuff bout them like that!!! I think its really cute that they got to be best friends!!! :]
