RECENT STORIES:

I didn't like Craig when I lived in Idaho and I still don't.
However the bigger issue to me is not whether he's a gay hypocrite, but that his arrest was not for actually having sex in a bathroom. He may have been inviting it, but straight people call that flirting. How often do straight men and women get arrested for flirting with each other?
I think it's disgusting that a cop, in this century, would set him up in a sting. (Ok, I think Craig is disgusting too for a number of reasons but this sting crap is over and above that.)

Jeez, why's the guy so defensive? OK, OK, you say you're not gay.
Great video, by the way.

Okay, the Craig story is good, but ENOUGH already! This is Towleroad, not Craigroad!

Chuck, this *IS* Towleroad, which means whatever Andy feels inclined to post is his to determine alone. Don't read it if the item doesn't interest you. That technique has always worked for me.
Andy, thanks for the clip. Whoever thought to combine Avenue Q with Craig's statement has a warped but brilliant sense of humour. Well done!

hehehe - that's funny.

Best response to Craig's wide-stance-paper-picking-up incident yet. I'm still chuckling.

I love it, thanks Andy.

I LOVE the very first line of the statement..."Thank you all very much for coming out today..." Brilliant!

love it!

Let's see if I can come up with a typical Towleroad reader comment:
Man, John Tartaglia is *hot*!

That was really cute, Andy. If the guy wasn't guilty, why did he plead it in the first place? Did he think it would honestly blow over (excuse the pun)?
Posted by: beb31 | Aug 30, 2007 7:40:44 PM
Hey beb he pled to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Thats like spitting on the sidewalk or jaywalking. The T room episode is just a "he said, he said". No way should he have to resign from the senate for that, I mean, this is worst than clinton's " I dint have sex with that woman". Its again the double standard of the Repugs hating everything having to do with homosexuality. The unforgivable republican crime, to have sex with the same sex. Vitter is not under pressure to resign for hitting up (female) whores for anal sex. Unreal and unbelievable in this modern age. Our collective culture is insane. Sex is a normal human function. Why demonize it so, its beyond crazy.

Seriously we are a culture of namby ninnies, fussing over everyones sex life. The press sounds like a bunch of silly old women hen cackling over who stuck what in who when. Jesus H. Christ, when are we going to grow up? Accept sex as part of living. an enjoyable bodily function. I am sick of it. This US culture is insane, fanned by the lunatics in the press.

I just know that in 5 years time, there will be a scene in a new musical featuring synchronized foot tapping by men behind a row of bathroom stalls.

Funny video, very funny.
Now that's not a bad idea FIN, not a bad idea at all...

Uh...reaching under a stall in a public bathroom is not flirting. if i were taking a crap and someone did that to me i would feel violated. it's not cool to be at a urinal and have dudes jacking off to you (nyc) or trying to look at you in stalls. it's really annoying and inappropriate and don't say "use another bathroom" i have a right to piss and crap where i please. i think this whole thing is hilarious. and this you tube is the best!
