More Bad News for Senator Larry Craig

MinneapolisbathroomThe Minneapolis Airport is installing new partitions between the toilets:

"Airport officials plan to put in new stall dividers just 2 to 3 inches above the floor, instead of as much as a foot now. The new dividers will go in two bathrooms where the airport has had complaints about sex, including the one where Craig was arrested."

Hmm. Guess he'll have to stop flying Northwest.

  1. LOL, too funny, but, this is one gay man who applauds this action and they should do it to every public toilet in the country! I have had the dirty hands and nails appear a couple of times under a stall, once with a note in bad English no less, and its just GROSS. Last thing I want when doing my business is some old man, or a young one, well, that could change with the right hottie, but, with my luck he would be a cop, but, for that matter looking for a quickie in a toilet? I think not!

  2. "Larry Craig" is a name that will live in infamy for Minnesota Tea Room Queens forever.

Well, girls, it's back to the public parks--which can be brutal in Minnesota during the wintertime...I imagine.

  3. If this was really such a problem, isn't this the answer in the first place? Besides, who does toilet-sex in this day and age? Do police departments have nothing better to do than sting closet-cases that MIGHT be soliciting for sex? That's why we have an internet. You just "order" it to go. May feel less filing, less full, but at least the stench of chlorine, ammonia, and excrement is not a part of the ambience, unless you like that sort of thing. Somehow, my sexuality is too prized and valued to let it off in a tea room, a bathhouse, or a men's restroom. Besides, I want hugging, kissing, caressing, as well as . . .

  4. What a waste of money! Holy Jebus! This is what our tax dollars go for? Those things cost a LOT of money -- just to protect some guys heterosexuality? Please!

There are perfectly fine dividers there now. They need to put up a sign that says this room is monitored by police. Simple and cheap.

  5. I just don't get it. I was just at that airport 2 days ago and when I had to use the bathroom there were at least 6 other people in it...how do you even try to solicite sex in that situation...wait don't tell me

  6. Won't lowering the walls make it more private? Hard to see anyones feet.

  7. OK, color me stupid, but how does the whole solicitation at an airport thing work? You wave your hands and/or feet, then hop over to a welcoming guy at the neighboring stall to get busy?

  8. Ah, but our task is to generate a snappy headline.
