Boy George Hawks T-shirts as Vendor at London Street Market

Boy George, who faces trial in November for the alleged imprisonment of a male escort, was spotted by UK tabloid The Sun hawking his B Rude fashion line of T-shirts at a London street market:
"The 'Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?' singer, 46, looked bored and miserable as he tried to shift the budget clobber from a battered trestle table. In shades and a shapeless hoodie, bald George slumped in his chair at Spitalfields Market, East London. On offer were £10 T-shirts, vests and hooded tops — all emblazoned with his B-Rude label. One shirt carried the slogan: 'Paris Hilton S*cks'. George told The Sun: 'It’s been all right — quiet today though. I’m bored and cold but we have to do a Friday stall to get a pitch on Sunday.'"

YOu know... I still like that music. It's been forever, but boy does it bring back memories and ... I don't know. I was never a huge Boy George fan, but in looking back on it all, he certainly was an iconic image of a certain period of time. Kinda miss it.

This tabloid story is annoying. George has had a line of clothing -- B-Rude -- for several years now. It is not that unusual for someone to sell their product themselves, particularly when it is based on the name they made for themselves. George may have gotten fat, gone bald, but he can still sing and his DJ gigs bring in $10,000 each so he's not exactly hurting for money!

I bought one the tees from his line through the site a few years back. They took my money but never sent the shirt. I emailed and called for eight months inquiring about it and eventually gave up.
And think about all the lawyer fees he has, especially for the kidnapping case. Sorry, George, but that karma-chameleon has bitten you in the ass once again.

I would think that he would make enough just from royalties and residuals to live nicely. Guess I'd be wrong.

That's just sad.

I thought he and miss O'Donnell were buddy-buddy? This is just sad. Just goes to show you that a dirty lifestyle will bring you a dirty life. It never pays.
