Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Wedding Imminent

Us Weekly reports they'll be married this weekend:

Ellen_portia"The pair are planning a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family."

In late June, De Rossi was seen wearing a ring consisting of a marquis cut diamond set with pink diamonds and DeGeneres told People: "Yes, we have set a wedding date...Planning a wedding is very stressful. It is crazy. My gardener is now invited...I can't wait to be married. I feel like it is long overdue. And I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous like we all don't have the same rights."

  3. can't make up my mind what to send her for a wedding present -- my 15 inch glow in the dark strap on with sapphires or blanche knott's truly tasteless jokes -- maybe both...

  6. Best wishes for the happy couple; I do hope they run The Queen's 1st gift idea through the rinse cycle first...

Kinda sucks if you don't live in one of the enlightened states (this idea of "leaving marriage equality to the states" is such a cop-out for politicians). So I guess MASS and CA gays can pay their taxes, but the other state's LGBT communities will withhold tax until we are ALSO treated AS HUMAN AS those in the enlightened states.
