  1. Did that actually happen, or is it just genius photoshopping? Either way, I've cried my first real tears of the day.

  2. That actually happened, at the end of the debate, when McCain couldn't figure out which way to go around the desk in the center of the stage.

  3. I nearly fell off my chair laughing... thank you for the best laugh at the start of a day that I have had in a while. That picture is just 100% telling of what we will get in each of the candidates... they could not have said anything more apt or accurate about themselves if they tried.

Obama's performance last night showed exactly why he is the candidate of choice for Nov 4.

Obama'08 will be a reality. Awesome!

  4. Yeppers

mccain thought he was being cute by making faces due to not knowing how to walk around a desk.

    cute? NOPE!

freaky old man with a tumor on the side of his face the size of a golf ball

  5. Though it's not a crime to fumble one's way around a chair, this particular hiccup of McCain's only reinforced what the evening showed show powerfully: that McCain is flustered, disrespectful, tantrum-prone and enraged, while Obama is cool, collected, statesmanlike, and graceful under pressure. As David Brooks (probably begrudgingly) allowed, who of these two can the American people "live with" for four years? The answer is obvious.

  6. ...and, curiously, when I look at both men in this picture, I think "Brains!", though the word takes on different meanings for each.

  7. McCain warned before the debate that he was after Obama's ass.

  8. I cringed when I caught that last night, he looked like the douche bag he is. The saddest thing about it all, after being a respected Senator all these years, he will go down as a loser.

  9. He did the mash!
    He did the monster mash.
    The monster mash!
    It was a graveyard smash.

  12. If that was after my ass, I'd know I was in a horror movie.

  13. That was his cranial implant shorting out. Perhaps his Blink Button fried? I was trying to figure out if McCain was blinking out a Morris Code signal to one of his operatives.

I thought it was an okay debate. Nothing really new, but I loved the direct line of questioning from Bill Moyers.

From this day forward, unless something really major breaks, I am going to be mroe or less boycotting all media regarding the remainder of this presidential race. I don't care to hear any more about polling, pundits, opinions or trash talk, because that's all that's left.

I plan to vote on November 4 for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

  14. That definitely happened, right after McCain VERY awkwardly shook Obama's hand, saying "Good job! Good job! goodjob! goo'job" over and over. Very weird dude.

RAD Bob Schieffer was the moderator.

  18. Hey, PATRICK,

McCain's lucky it wasn't Bill Moyers. The old guy wouldn't have stood a chance. But Moyer's would have been equally as tough on Slim Jim. Or is it Charlie Rose whose the tough one?

I think Schieffer did a pretty good job though. No moderators are going to be tough on follow up questions on questions that haven't really been answered by the candidates.

  19. Both these guy's are not up to the needs of this sick nation. You that think Obama is going to be the answer are a joke. Have fun crying as we continue to sink as a nation 1,2, 3 and 4 years from now. See ya'all on the rebound

  20. Yeah, okay, thanks ROB- we're all completely uninformed apparently...

In any event- these pics are awesome!

Everyone- PLEASE vote! You too, ROB.
