Giving Thanks for Harvey Milk
Harvey Milk was assassinated 30 years ago today in his SF City Hall office, as was Mayor George Moscone, by fellow supervisor Dan White. Five years ago today I posted THIS item and am gratified that in 2008 many more people are learning Milk's story.
Two items relevant to that, AFTER THE JUMP...
My thoughts today are also with the people of Mumbai, India as they suffer through a heinous, tragic loss of innocent life.

PeterParker-- Oh, she might have THOUGHT it was directed at us, but I simply choose not to accept her hate, blame, and damnation. Instead, in the spirit of giving, I suggest she give it to the people who actually deserve it -- the right wingers and Mormon foot soldiers who think they can trample us on their way to heaven.
