Meteor Lights Up Sky Over Edmonton, Alberta
Evidence of the brilliant meteor that lit up skies over Edmonton, Alberta Thursday night began appearing on YouTube over the weekend.
The AP reports: "University of Calgary planetary scientist Alan Hildebrand called it one of the largest meteors visible in the country in the last decade. Widely broadcast video images showed what appeared to be a speeding fireball Thursday night over Saskatoon that became larger and brighter before disappearing as it neared the ground. Hildebrand said Friday that he received about 300 email reports from witnesses. 'It would be something like a billion-watt light bulb,' said Hildebrand, who also co-ordinates meteor sightings with the Canadian Space Agency."
In the most widely-distributed videos, the meteor was caught on a police official's dashboard camera as well as a security camera at the CTV Edmonton station. Officials said they would be searching for pieces of the meteorite around Macklin, Saskatchewan near the Alberta border.

As a Christian I believe this is god giving Canada a happy wink for allowing same sex marriage.

Last i checked the bible says God burned Sodom and Gomorrroh to the ground because he disapproved of their rampant homosexuality, so if God was going to comment on Canada ok-ing same sex marriage i'm guessing itwould be way catastrophic

This was an absolutely incredible sight to see live in person. Just goes to show that we've got the best views up here in Canada, as well as protection of gay rights and same sex marriage :)
