Travolta Always Wanted to be in a Gay Cowboy Movie

The first shot from John Travolta's 2009 remake of the 1974 thriller The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 has been revealed in a gallery from Entertainment Weekly. "The remake...pits [Denzel] Washington as an NYC transit worker against a hostage-taking Travolta."
And the first shot reveals that Travolta may also be starring in the sequel to Brokeback Mountain.

I'm confused? Why is Travolta wearing the same make up he used to play an alien in "Battlefield Earth" in this movie? :-P

I have a good friend who lived in San Francisco in the early-to-mid '70s who told me Travolta was a frequent flyer at all the gay bars and clubs and had a certain propensity towards young twinkie-type man. And Scientology didn't "save" him for his sexuality either. Travolta has a home here in Orlando and I have several friends who claim he frequents a local steamroom for some fun with men on the side. So, that role probably wouldn't have been a far stretch for him.

Travolta has that “gay thing” with too short hair and being over 50. With a big carb face it makes him look like a pin head.

Okay, so why the hell are Jack and Ennis riding the train? Does this take place during one of their "fishing" trips?

DJ, reading the comments on just about every site on the internet shows how superficial and pretentious most people who post comments on websites cam be. The fact that you came on this site, went to a rather frivolous item and then posted that shows that you have to much time on your hands and really need to find something to do. Your bizarre use of the word "farce" tells me you should read your comments before you post them.
