  1. Re gay Syrians: the Arabic word for gay is "mithli" which is a homophone for "like me." So the name of the organization "I am like you" is a clever play on words, which not only introduces the neutral term for gays but stresses the notion of equality

Good for the brave souls in Syria!

  2. This is a nitpick, but to get the spelling of my hometown straight (or gay?), it's Cincinnati, not Cincinatti. Double the second N, not the T.

  3. Sooo glad to hear Whitney Houston is making a comeback! She's the greatest female singer EVER. She's been gone for far too long and I hope her comeback is MASSIVE!

  5. Teresa and Joe are pure fucking Jersey trash - I honestly can't stomach watching any of these shows Bravo scrapes the bottom of the barrel with and puts on the air.

  8. hey andy - i'm surprised you're not on top (ahem) of the KRXQ story in Sacramento. A radio host there did a morning show talking about how he would beat the living crap out of his son if he happened to be a "transgendered" kid, and then went on and on about how transgendered and/or gay kids needed to be beaten or "taught" a lesson.

check out michael rowe's piece on the Huffington Post -- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-rowe/krxq-sacramento-radio-hos_b_210637.html

the radio station is losing sponsors - major ones like B of A, Snapple, Wells Fargo etc. - faster than Lance Bass sheds boyfriends.
