She was taken to Fresno's Community Regional Medical Center where she says an ambulance driver kept her partner from seeing her in the emergency room."

Janice Dickinson needed a hospital, get her out of there.

Former American Idol contestant Blake Lewis says he gets hit on by men and women, often at the same time: “Usually I get swingers. The guy will come up to me first usually, and ask if I’m gay.  When I say no, he’ll point to his girlfriend and say that she wants me to come home with both of them that night. I tell them my girl back home wouldn’t appreciate it, but thanks anyway.  It’s very flattering though!”

New Opera browser turns your computer into a server: "The concept is somewhere between a personal web server and a file sharing application, technologically and conceptually. The interface is straightforward, divided into panels for each service that you choose to "host." All of them behave in the same stupid-simple way: you start a service, whether it be photo sharing, music streaming, web hosting, or straight file sharing, select a shared directory, set your privacy preferences and go." 1. Anderson Cooper, Brian Graden and Chris Evan's brother??? But NOTHING about Dustin Lance Black's apology for the bareback sextape. This isn't gossip now, it's a story. What kind of journalist are you? Your keeping the story from your readers will soon be the story.

Woodward and Bernstein are rolling in their graves due to this glaring omission.

  3. Yay! That Telegraph article has a link to related articles and there is one for the German peguin pair! Their chick is 4 weeks old.

FYI, there is a website with information about welcoming and affirming temples - World Congress of Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Jewish Organizations. There are member organizations from most countries.

  4. This site is hopping the tracks.

I mean, a link for GQ photos of yet ANOTHER straight actor...

...but nothing about the FIRST gay-sex tape scandal with Dustin Lance Black?

Yes, I can understand not posting the pictures, but nothing about it? It is a first, and a GAY first.

    Towleroad jumps the shark.

  5. Wow, Crispy, I know that was a sarcastic comment, but Bob Woodward and Carl Berstein are both still very, very, very much alive. There is no "grave" involved in their lives whatsoever. For that matter, Mark Felt didn't die too long ago.

    Posted by: K | Jun 16, 2009 4:07:35 PM

  6. True enough, K, but you can bet if there was a sex-tape scandal involving politicos in DC, Woodward/Bernstein would be ALL OVER IT.

But Towleroad? Nah. Don't want to piss off the supposed Gay Mafia.

    Posted by: alan | Jun 16, 2009 4:12:43 PM

  7. No way, K. They both died about the same time as Abe Vigoda.

  8. Lack of Lance comments on every towleroad post today only show that some posters are simply spamming. Your spam slam has provided Andy with the final reason as to why comments on towleroad should be filtered.

Perez Hilton would suck the scab off a junkie's ass if he thought it would get him entry to a convenience store. To me, the only scandal on towleroad is that Andy has not yet removed Hilton from his blog roll.

Pics from a lousy ex-boyfriend posted on a scummy website were followed with a dignified response by the subject in the photos.

Many HIV negative people are tested regularly & have unprotected sex while in relationships. It isn't unusual. It's just that the majority of us aren't Oscar-winning gay guys with very bitter, opportunistic exes. Let's move on--or at the very least--post comments that coincide with the corresponding posts.

  9. d8stretch and alan

    Post a link

Everyone who feels like they want to draw attention to something Andy hasn't covered yet (delayed coverage while researching for more info is not ignoring a story) post links

If you don't post links then one wonders how sincere you are. No links = just concern trolling

  10. Another huge blow to "it's unnatural". Sweet FSM I love science.

  11. I agree Hank.People grow the fuck up! Jesus Christ. This isnt the high school cafeteria in an all girls school. This is the real world.Where real shit is going on.That crap you are whining about aint one of them.

  12. Jimmyboyo-

When the subject himself, Dustin Lance Black, issues a mea culpa, there is no more research to be done on the story.

Since you are the Letitia Baldridge of Towleroad, I'll follow your recommendation and post a link to the Advocate.

  13. "Many HIV negative people are tested regularly & have unprotected sex while in relationships. It isn't unusual."

Wow. No wonder why HIV/AIDS is still an issue after 25 years...

    Posted by: Felix | Jun 16, 2009 5:55:23 PM

  14. Exactly, Felix.

If you can't trust your partner to keep your sex tape private, how can you trust what he tells you about being monogamous or his HIV status?

  15. Jimmyboyo,
And here's the X-rated picture everyone wants to see...

LOL I had to look up "Letitia Baldridge"

Not trying to be the social secretary and universally recognized as the country's leading authority on executive, domestic, and social manners here at Towleroad

Just pointing out that you should post a link.

I had no clue what you were talking about due to my attention mostly being on the Iranian stuff at the moment and popping in and out of towleroad while taking breaks from the iranian stuff.

Some of us had no clue what you were talking about. In the past, i myself bitched that Andy wasn't covering an issue I thought should be covered and was schooled by him to wait. The thread that he did put up on the subject ended up being quite in depth and with lots of links.

For all we know Andy could be running between errands posting today so give him time. He doesn't have a staff.

  17. PS

    thanks for the link

  19. Jimmyboyo-

I'm gratified that you looked her up. And I hope you see now why I was concerned about the lack of coverage on this site about the DLB story.

    Posted by: dc8stretch | Jun 16, 2009 7:10:32 PM

  20. Count me among those glad that Andy hasn't posted on the Dustin Lance Black "news." Compare the subject matter with every story down below and decide if it's news or gossip that isn't any of my business or concern. Not to mention, the pictures came out on Friday, as did his apology. Hopefully the story is dead.

And yes, it is possible to have sex without a condom in a committed relationship. Not every gay man lies or cheats.

  21. "Social networking and Iran: a fascinating look at the hand Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have had in toppling state media control.'

    Thanks Andy, cool article link

Just read this at Huffpo on the same subject

"....One protester has even used Google Maps to track the location of government tanks....."

I have used Google maps to check out my own house and goofy stuff, but never imagined it could be such a simple yet amazing tool in the fight for democracy.
