  1. The fact the Shawn Bennett harmed himself instead of being gay bashed is no big surprise, the story read that way last week. Hope he gets the help that he very clearly needs, instead of just leaving the State and taking the crazy somewhere else.

  2. I garnered that from his "report" last week as well, and the photo is just too... weird. If I were bashed, I would not be sitting there with a content grin on my face.

  3. Sad to see that guy wasted police time and made hate crimes look like a joke.

Can't believe he did that to himself. He needs mental help and I hope he gets it.

  4. The dailymail article that boasts the "first close-up view of a single molecule" is misleading. In fact, it is not a direct picture of a molecule. It uses a technique called atomic force microscopy (AFM), which essentially infers what the molecule looks like based on its topography. Such "images" of single molecules have been produced using other methods in the past. The real story here is the increased resolution of the AFM technique.

  5. To Shawn Bennett: The next time someone is actually bashed - your name will be brought up. Thanks for the set-back. Get some help.

  6. About time they started arresting people who knowingly spread disease ... it's tantamount to assault.
