  1. The problem with Signorile, Savage, and the rest of these media "critics" is their belief that they can dictate to the United States Congress what the priorities should be through nagging alone. I can say with some confidence that the members of Congress won't respond positively to such an attitude. They will respond to winning however.

    You want Congress to act on DOMA repeal?

    Start coming out ahead in a few of these marriage referendums and the Democrats will suddenly find the time to deal with it.

  2. I completely agree with Ms. Hamsher. Why turn on backs on people who actually empathize with us and allow the last eight years to repeat itself?

    So, GLBT action isn't progressing as fast as we want it to. Obama has only been in office for (not even) ten months! He's trying to get universal health care coverage introduced into our society for the first time ever. Jeez, he and our allies on Capital Hill are not supermen!

    I'm voting democrat next year and I can even forsee myself donating to candidates. If however, a year from now- once health care is in the rear- there still hasn't been action, talk to me then.
