  7. I am an old white male. Military veteran and gun owner. I am not a fan of Rap, but I listened closely to the words of this message and found little if anything with which I could disagree. This young man nailed it precisely. If the Tea Party were black, the panic would be palpable all across the land. Look at the distress and mounting hysteria (fueled by FOX) 3 or 4 New Black Panthers are creating. I hope this video goes viral and is seen or heard by millions.

    It also needs to be said aloud in prose so old farts like me who might not listen because it is Rap will get the message too. Not all of us old, white, male, veterans are Tea Party sympathizers. And I know what this young man says is so very, very true.

  8. Oh and one more thing, Glenn Beck's rant at the end of the video about "reparations" is fricken' outrageous. Beck, FoxNews and their ilk should be ashamed, but clearly they have no shame. Excellent comment Bob R - you hit the nail on the head. I hope the video goes viral also!

    Granted that some in the Tea Party are arguing those specific points, where was all of this drama when George W. Bush expanded government and did not practice fiscal responsibility (Bill Clinton left Dubya with a surplus)?

    And when Bush expanded Medicare, I didn't see him depicted as a witch doctor either. In fact, he was reelected after that.

  22. Small government is great, I wish that President George W. Bush believed that too but he doubled its size. Lower taxes, yes that would be great… I sure wish President Ronald Regan thought as you until he took away the consumer interest tax deduction thus creating the largest tax increase on the middle class the country as ever seen. It sure would have been fiscally responsible to include the cost of the wars in the budget. How about President Theodore Roosevelt’s progressive estate tax? I think we the people have missed out on 10 billion so far this year… Those poor Steinbrenner’s… But you miss the point Max. The clip was not about any of the crap you speak of, it speaks to racism. The racism of the GOP, ever hear of the southern strategy? LBJ knew when he signed the civil rights act that he would be losing the south (for the Democratic Party) for at least a generation. As for racist self hating Log Cabin Republicans… nobody wants them…. Not even the big tented GOP… sorry max….

    Well...to be more precise, it speaks to a double standard and I think that the MSM has given thse teabaggers and birthers a legitmacy that they don't deserve.

    Because obviously, they haven't treated black people similarily nor am I confident that the MSM would do a fair job of it even now.

  25. You know Max I think I am what you would call a "race baiting leftist" and the funny thing is I don't give a damn about someone's race, religion or sexual orientation. I do care about having proper affordable health care accessible to all, I do care about having equitable tax burdens through all strata of society, I do care about having safety nets for the elderly, I do care about having affordable college tuitions for the working and middle classes, I do care about having sanely secured borders without infringing on our civil rights, I do care that if a dedicated man or woman wants to serve the country int he armed forces they should be able to do so without regard to their sexual orientation. Contrary to your assertion "race baiting leftists" do care about a lot of things. What do you care about other than name calling and finger pointing ?
