Listen: 20 New Seconds of Britney Spears' New Album

Britney Spears continues the snippet-torture method of album release with two new Dr. Luke-produced 10-second clips of tracks "I Wanna Go" and "Inside Out".

Spears reportedly earned $500,000 from the "Hold It Against Me" video on product placement alone.

  1. I remember with fondness when being a pop star required some kind of talent... musical, dancing... standing upright for more than5 seconds....

Now you just have to be a shameless, drugged-up skank willing to lip sync (poorly) to a computer that sounds kind of like you while you hold products and try desperately to focus both of your eyes on the same camera.

Out of curiosity, are there any songs on her new album that have MORE than 3 notes?

  2. What Jasun said. She really is the luckiest girl in the world.

  3. Andy...This blog has some of the most bitter people commenting on every one of your entries. I swear they must just LIVE to spew venom when they COULD proactively and positively just turn the radio/tv/magazine/web page if they don't like something.

    That's all.

ps...Thanks for all your hard work keeping this blog going. Love it!

  5. Philip's right. If you can't say something nice, don't say it. Here goes: she's had great producers and marketing, sometimes good songwriters, cheerleader beauty, she's hurting no one, and she's the luckiest girl in the world.

  6. I, for one, love drugged-up, talentless skanks, and if they're shameless about it, more power to them.

  7. "shameless, drugged-up skank"

  8. Regardless of your feelings about her, she's a consistent performer and these two tracks have great beats and hooks especially "I I I Wanna Go".
