Ha! That's brother Jed, he goes to all of these campuses in the midwest and south. He is based out of somewhere in Missouri I think. He caused such distractions at my school. I just graduated from the University of Iowa, and he was like a fall tradition. A circle formed around him and people teased him, asked him challenging questions about the Bible, and even streaked in front of him. I handed him a button of two men holding hands and he threw it on the grounds and said "it's a homo-button". It's really funny to mess with the guy, which they are clearly doing. Good times man, good times.

I saw Brother Jed on campus this week. He's very strange, and I almost feel sorry for him. I can't get upset by these sad men. He says he used to live on a hippie commune back in the 70s, but then found Jesus and became a street fanatic. It's so weird.

You know the other thing, maybe Brother Jed deserves some love? Maybe he's a secret homo at heart and just likes being around gay kids (not in a sleazy way) but because they secretly like all the drama they create and being near gays...I feel sorry for him really.
Mind you, he should go back to being a hippie. Maybe it's his way of recapturing his youth.
