  2. oops, forgot to add:

and to think she was singing with a sore throat (or something like that) just amazes me! Way better than those crappy lip syncers out there. Her live singing almost sounds as good as the studio version where live performances for many other artists fall short.

  3. the guys dancing were both former sytycd finalists. nick lazzarini & travis wall. i'm not sure who the girls were.

  4. Adele really shouldn't have anything around her when she performs. It only distracts from her utter awesomeness.

  5. live performance, i have seen in a while, great vocals.

  6. She's almost as good as Taylor Swift live.

It looked like an SNL skit

  8. Taylor Swift live? Gosh Taylor is awful live! You can't compare this talented woman with Taylor Swift? really? Adele is Ah mazing!

  9. Even if the singing weren't incredible, she would deserve a lot of credit for not bursting out laughing at the "dancing" occurring in front of her. Were I her, I'd have had to look away or I would have ruined the show.

Nothing about her seems 21, from her voice to (unfortunately) her appearance.

And I hope the comment about Taylor Swift was a joke!

  10. D.R.H. mistook Taylor Swift for Lady Caca.

"21" will be the true POP Album of the Year, not BTW.

  11. "Lady Caca" wasn't funny the first time someone used it, and now it's just incredibly tired.

I don't care about anyone's opinion of her, but seeing it debated endlessly gets old. Fast.

  12. Other than this song and Set Fire to the Rain there was nothing on the album I could get into. A huge portion was mopy, southern church spirituals. It feels like her whole album is being promoted with this ONE song.

  13. "Almost as good as Taylor Swift live" - really??? REALLY???

Adele is one of a kind (so is Taylor Swift, I may add) and to compare her to anyone else is a disservice to her talent and her uniqueness. Listen to "21" and try to find anything else in the market that's evern remotely comparable.

  14. news flash...

    this is a DANCE show.

if you have ever seen it before, you are aware that vocal performers are always accompanied by dancers, either the show's or their own. they, and the audience, know that going in, so there is no need to discuss it unless the dancing is bad, which it never is. enough said.

  15. I was joking, ladies. Taylor Swift? Really? My dog can hold a tune better than that blond chipmunk.

  16. Some famous singers have a scratching sound as part of their vocals. Steven Tyler of "Aerosmith," Adele and Louis Armstrong are known for a scratching sound unique to their voice.
