Dan Savage and his husband Terry Miller spoke last month at Google Headquarters around the time that the ad for Google Chrome featuring the couple aired for the first time on Glee.

That was pretty good. I love how impassioned Dan is about this project. He takes these suicides personally and acts on his feelings in such a powerful way. Very inspiring. It's great how he and Terry pulled all this together. Excellent.

i think i love terry the first person besides my self i have heard speak of the positive catharsis for the older speakers who have held their experiences in for so long. i found myself listening as if it were a therapy group for ptsd victims, as indeed it is proving to be.

I want to be Dan when I grow up. I can't think of anyone else who can make me both laugh and cry in such a short period of time. He inspires the hell outta me.

Dan and Terry are heros for sure. But Dan is too raw for me. I"m as embarrassed by the repeated story of their first words as Terry is. Blabbing everything in public is not courageous per se. It's more often careless.

I love them both and can't thank them enough. I used to hesitate, somewhat, when referring to my spouse (we are legally married in CA) as my husband but that hesitation no longer exists. Dan and Terry make all of us very proud.

Really Kanga? Someone who created a campaign that saved the lives of some gay teenagers doesn't deserve alot of praise? People like you who always look for the negative makes me want to vomit.

I love people like Kanga who think just because they've had a non-positive view of someone that somehow makes anything that the person they don't like has to be bad.
