  2. Who's the featured actor in this commercial playing Matthew's boss (or agent)? It looks like it could be out actor Peter Paige (aka Emmett Honeycutt on the US version of "Queer As Folk"). Does anyone know??

  3. Once you get past the nostalgia, it's actually a pretty despicable bit of corporate pandering.

  4. It didn't work. The spark of youth is gone, or SJP has sucked out his will to live.

  5. I love it!

  6. Love it. And one of the best films of all time. Haters can suck it.

  7. If you truly love Ferris Bueller, you'd understand why Ferris shilling for Honda and driving a bland soccer-mom car like a CR-V is an abomination.

  8. well f@ck you honda for ruining Ferris. and that Ferris sequel dream i have

  9. Terrible. Lame and unfunny. Honda should be ashamed to show this piece of crap and Broderick should be embarrassed to have sold-out to make it.

  10. Yes, ENDO, because Ferris Bueller's Day Off was a not-for-profit art project, right?

  11. Sigh. Some people are just too stupid to converse with.

  13. I'm not a Ferrari fan but to go from a 250GT to a CR-V is a steep decline.

  14. oh Yeah! - Bought the album by yellow and just pulled it out again but that was from...The secret of my success not Ferris

  15. No, RYAN, because the character was a playboy in training and drove a classic Ferrari in the film. Then he grows up and drives a Honda?

No one is claiming the film itself wasn't a commercial enterprise.

  19. I'm surprised blow-hard Ben Stein didn't find a way to weasel his way into the commercial.

  20. I'm the biggest Ferris Bueller nut on the planet and I can't believe I have to type this but here goes.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a MOVIE.
    Matthew Broderick is an ACTOR.
This commercial is Matthew's Day off.
The commercial is an homage to the movie.
Look up HOMAGE if you don't know what it means.

  23. @HADENOUGHBS: I think it's Brian Stepanek. It's true... he looks an awful lot like Peter Paige.

  24. Love it! Just wish it was a sexier car than a CR-V. Sheesh.
